The Manuals are divided into chapters listed below.
Each Chapter is divided in Subchapter (1.1), topics (1.1.1) and
subtopics (1.1.1.1).
If necessary this hierarchy of levels is further subdivided by
capital letters A, B, C etc. and by roman numerals I, II, III etc.
Furthermore a), b), c) etc. is used when listing a series of
possibilities or requirements and 1. 2. 3. etc. is used when listing
a prescribed sequence of events or measures to be taken.
Each page is lined out with a Header and Footer showing the name of
manual, No of issue the chapter, the revision number and the date of
effective.
The Header shows the Name of the Operational manual No of Issue, No.
of Revision and Date of created
The footer shows the number of pages of the specific chapter and the
company name.
Example:
Header: OM D No of Issue: 1
No of Revision 0 Date
19.10.2008
Footer : Company No of Issue
1 No of Rev 0
No of Page 4 of 22
The end of the chapter is shown by “End of Chapter” and the
particular number.
Example : End of chapter 1
The end of the Manual is shown as “End of OM + letter of Manual
Example : End of OM D
With each revision a "What’s new" page shall be issued, which will
provide the user with a quick overview and links to the top of the
revised pages.
The revised or amended text will be displayed in with the Letter R
on the left side of the chapter.
A cancellations of a chapter or sentence will be marked by using the
Letter C at the left side of Chapter
This markings will be disappear with the publishing of a new a
Revision.
Correction of mistakes in writing will not be marked.
The Valid Pages will be shown on the “Table of Revision” with these
effective date .
The table of revision will be in front of the manuals.
Dependant which Regulations the Aircraft Operator will following it
will be required to design additional Manual.
